5 Makeup Products Worth The Hype!

I think i’m right to say that as beauty bloggers, although we love trying out new and different beauty products, there are always those few trusty products that we keep going back to no matter what. These holy grail products keep us slaying and looking our best at all times and our makeup collection would not be complete without them. Today, i’m here to share with you guys my top 5 holy grail products that are totally worth the hype!

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser Primer

This one’s for all my girls out there with big pores (it’s such a struggle)! This has long been seen as a dupe for Benefit’s Porefessional and let me tell you, this works just as well if not better and is literally half the price of that. I apply this mainly on my nose and cheek as that’s where i have the most pores. Not only do my pores literally vanish once i put this on, but it also mattifies the skin and gives me a nice, smooth surface to put the rest of my makeup on.

Wet n Wild Nude Liner

Lining your waterline with a nude liner has been in for quite awhile now. It’s a great way to make your eyes look bigger and more awake. I used to apply a white eyeliner before but i feel it’s too harsh for everyday looks and so this Wet n Wild nude liner in the shade ‘Call Your Bluff’ is a definite staple in my makeup collection and perfect for everyday makeup looks. Not only is it super cheap, it’s creamy and stays on for a very long time.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I mean, do i even have to say anything about this product that you haven’t heard already? This has to be the most hyped up bronzer to ever exist and boy is it worth the hype! This was my very first bronzer that i ever purchased back when contouring just became a thing and till this day, i always see my myself reaching out to it. It looks good on all skin tones and is so easy to use and build up. It gives me the most amazing contour that doesn’t look too harsh or muddy. Very rarely do i like brushes that come with the makeup product itself, but the brush that comes with this bronzer is the BOMB and perfect for giving you those chiseled cheek bones!

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Highlighter

Let me just say i am very choosy when it come sto highlighters. I like something that blends into the skin easily, can be built up and looks glowy/dewy not GlITTERY. This highlighter does all that and more. It’s a high end highlighter but totally worth every penny!

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick ‘Lolita’

Last but certainly not the least is my one and only ‘Lolita’. I literally wear this everyday, and just can’t seem to like any other liquid lipstick as much as i like this. Let me just add though that i’m not a big fan of liquid lipsticks as i just find them super uncomfortable to wear and my lips end up looking crusty and wrinkly (not a good look) BUT this formula is something i can work with as it doesn’t dry out my lips and the shade oh it’s the most beautiful combination of nude/mauve/pink i have ever come across! Highly recommend this!

    1. I actually haven’t tried that many of maybelline’s products as they do tend to be a bit pricey where I live but this primer is definitely an amazing product! Which products of their would you recommend? Maybe I can check them out!
Oh yes, I wanna get more of their highlighters! 💕

  1. Lolita looks absolutely stunning & I feel like we have similar skin tones so I will DEFFO be buying this. I have wanted some Kat Von D for the longest time, I think I should just do it! The Hoola is my little baby man, I could not imagine my makeup kit without it! Funnily enough I bought the maybelline primer a month or even two ago now but still haven’t used it! Forever buying things and not using them 😅🙈🙈

    1. Yes I’m sure it would look amazing on your skin tone! I was never one to wear dark colors on my lips and I would stick to nudes and pinks but this shade is just so gorgeous that I don’t mind it!

Hahah, that’s so true I buy new makeup but then just keep on using the old one 🙄
