Pamper Night Essentials🌙 (Collab with Lilli)

Hey guys!

For todays post, I am doing a collab with Lilli from so don’t forget to check her post out! ☺️

Pamper nights are always fun to have but even more so at this time of the year when it’s cold outside. The thought of cozying up inside my house with my favorite pamper essentials is such a great feeling and that is why today, i wanted to share with you all some of my ultimate essentials for having that perfect cozy night in!

Comfy outfit

I don’t know about you guys but 80% of the time i’m feeling cold and i think we all can agree that the first step to a great pamper night is to get into your coziest and warmest pj’s; pair those with some fuzzy socks and you are good to go.

I could not write a post on pampering without including candles, could i? We all know candles are relaxing but how? It’s actually the candle’s flame that helps ‘soothe our soul’- helps to reduce stress and give us greater self awareness. The scent, of course is another factor and depending on what scent you enjoy, you can create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. (Lavender, Chamomile and Sandalwood are some scents that help in relaxing).

Skin/Body Care

When i think of pampering myself, i instantly think of face masks! Not only is the process of putting on masks (especially charcoal ones) oddly calming to me but actually taking it off and seeing how clean and refreshed my skin looks just makes it the perfect pamper product. Sometimes i’ll also have a little mani session where i cut/file my nails, fix those not very attractive cuticles and put on some nail polish.

I’m not much of a tea drinker but sometimes when i want to relax, i’ll have a warm cup of green tea with a little treat on the side. Studies have actually shown that green tea has a amino acid called L-theanine that has a soothing and calming effect and it also reduces levels of anxiety and stress so it really is the perfect way to wind down.

Okay, so at this point, i’m all pampered up, cuddled up in my blankets with a nice hot cup of tea so there’s only one other thing i would need to complete this pamper night routine; a good ol’ book preferably a thriller as those are my favorite types of books but i do enjoy other genres as well. Reading has shown to be the best way to relax even if you just read for 10 minutes. Apparently, since your mind is so focused on reading, it distracts it from worrying and helps to ease the tension as your mind is taken into a ‘literary world’.

And those are some of my favorite things to do if i’m planning to have a cozy night in which i believe we all deserve to have from time to time!

What are your pamper night essentials? Share them in the comments!

Thank you for reading! xx

  1. Loved this post! Face masks are probably the best part about pampering oneself. It’s amazing to feel all the dirt being lifted off the face ❤ A book and a cup of tea would be the most ideal scene on a pamper night for me. Also, The One is such a good book! 😀

      1. Yes! And it’s really good, the ending might or might not be predictable, depending on where you’re in the book atm and the concept alone is fantastic! ❤

  2. I definitely think I need to have a pamper night for myself. Most of the time when I do relax I’m on my computer or my phone, I think I have to better to let my electronic items go and read a book or so 🙂 Comfy outfits and Face mask are certainly my go-to’s

    1. Oh yes, It’s so easy to get sucked in to using your phone and laptop for hours and I always end up feeling so tired when I do that!
I love putting my phone away and reading, you should totally try it. 💕

  3. Omg I love a good pamper night especially when it’s cold all the time!! Couldn’t agree more that tea and a good book are the best ways to wind down, although I need to start burning candles more often for sure:’)

  4. I desperately need a pamper night soon! I was planning one today actually but I felt so crap I just napped instead which completely defeats the point because when you feel crap is when you need to pamper and take care of yourself most! A bath with chocolate and a book is a must for me! xxx

  6. I love this post! Pamper nights are so awesome. I feel like I have to have one at least once a week to destress. I love all these things too, though I prefer wax melts to candles these days. I still like to use a candle if I take a hot bubble bath with the lights off though. The dim lighting mixed with the hot water is incredibly relaxing. It’s great if you have a headache too. I don’t read as much as I used to, but for me I like to complete my pamper night by watching a movie or one of my favorite shows. I’m obsessed with crime shows on the ID channel, so that’s usually my go-to.
