My First Ever Influenster VoxBox!

As you can tell from the title of this post, i recently received my very first influenster VoxBox and to say i was excited would be an understatement. This time influenster teamed up with Max Factor to give us products focusing mainly on the eyes. I tried out each of the products except for the brow contour kit because, guess what! It came in BROKEN! (I was so sad i didn’t get try that out but oh well). Anyways, if you want to know how i felt about these products, then keep on reading!

Max Factor Masterpiece Eyeshadow Palettes in ‘Golden Nudes’ & ‘Rose Nudes’

I am very impressed with the shade selection in both of these palettes but i personally like the ‘Rose’ palette more and i do think the ‘Golden’ palette could have done with a few more matte shades in it. I was very happy with how intense and pigmented the shimmer shades were. Overall, i would say they have a beautiful selection of colors with great pigmentation. One thing to keep in mind while using these is that they have A LOT of fallout so just make sure you do your eye makeup before going in with your foundation.

Max Factor Brow Shaper in ‘Deep Brown’

I knew i was going to love this brow pencil as soon as i saw it. I love how thin the actual brow pencil is, as it helps me be more precise and fill in all the little spaces in my brows. It has the right amount of pigmentation (i hate it when brow pencils are super intense) and is easily buildable. I love that it has a spoolie as it really helps in blending in any harsh lines. I was a little skeptical about the shade but it’s perfect for my brows so if you have darker brows like me, you could go for this. Unfortunately, they only have 3 shades available in this brow pencil so Max Factor could definitely work on expanding their shade range.

Max Factor Color X-Pert Waterproof Eyeliner

I have mixed opinions on this eye liner. At first, i really did love how black and pigmented this was but i feel it’s consistency is too liquidy which not only makes applying it a little hard to apply but can also lead to it smearing easily; although once it’s dried off it does stay in place and doesn’t budge. Another thing i noticed is that this liner doesn’t do well with layering as it started crusting off when i went in with a second layer. Also, taking it off was a PAIN but i guess that’s justified as it is a waterproof liner right! Overall, it’s not that bad but i feel there are way better liquid liners available in the drugstore for a similar price.

Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect

First off, this mascara has the coolest wand, it’s so big and has this swirl-y design on it. This mascara works best when you layer it MANY times as it didn’t give me much volume otherwise. Also, i don’t know why but it has a really unflattering smell so overall i’m not a big fan of it but it isn’t that bad either!
