December Favorites ❄️

Ahhh! I can’t believe we are finally at the end of December and going in to the new year. I guess i haven’t given it much thought previously but now that i’m here writing this post, its really dawning over me that in just a few hours we will be in the year 2018! Well, since this is my very last post for this year, i gotta make it good right? So here i am, sharing with you all some of my absolute favs of this month so let’s get in to it!

Starbucks Metallic Steel Cup

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the beauty that is this starbucks cup! My brother got this for me on his recent trip to Philippines and i love how unique this one is because i’ve never seen one that is multicolored like this one is. I know i’ll be getting a lot of use out of it especially as it’s winter and i can enjoy some amazing hot drinks in this to keep myself warm!

Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions Palette

AC56CD40-7B64-40EC-8316-FE0C74375E20

I fell in love with this Huda Beauty Palette as soon as i saw it! I especially love the deep berry and brick red shades as i dont have similar shades in my makeup collection, oh and not to mention the gorgeous pink-ish shimmer shades just made me love this palette even more. They are also super pigmented and feel buttery to the touch. The fact that it’s so small and comes with a mirror makes it perfect for travelling as well!

Huda Beauty Lip Strobe

C2C09282-31C8-4209-9EE7-4C24D688EA4A

I’m actually surprised that this product made it to my favorites as i’m not a big fan of sparkly/glossy type lip products. This lip strobe by Huda Beauty in the shade ‘Angelic’ is a metallic lip gloss and i personally like layering this on top of a liquid lipstick instead of wearing it on it’s own and it just gives my lips the most beautiful pink-ish gold sheen. This is perfect for a holiday makeup look.

Origins Active Charcoal Mask

903872D2-61EF-433C-90C4-064AA20758A4

This has quickly become one of my favorite charcoal mask as it really helps get rid of the dirt from my pores and makes my face look instantly brighter and cleaner. It is a bit on the pricier side but i saw a difference in my skin from the very first time i applied it. Also,  it doesn’t make my skin excessively dry which many charcoal masks tend to do. I will be doing an in depth review of this mask and the other two masks origins has in this range so stay tuned for that!

Bioderma Hydrabio Creme

F3BC3786-E2D4-428A-A22D-0BDFCE3C19AD

Okay, so i’ve found my new favorite moisturizer and if you have dry skin, you NEED to try this out! I was super skeptical of it in the beginning even though it says it’s for dry/dehydrated skin, the gel/cream type consistency made me think it would not be moisturizing enough. I was surprised by how lightweight yet how hydrating this was. I only need to use a little amount for my whole face so i know this will last me a while and once i put it on, it keeps my dryness away the entire day. A slight downside is that it sometimes leaves my skin a little tacky but honestly, the pros highly outweigh the con.

‘Good Girl’ Carolina Herrera Body Lotion

05C2FF6A-C543-4A2E-B6A4-3284E6310C00

Last but certainly not the least is this amazingly scented body lotion that i’ve been using everyday! I just like to pop some on my neck and on the inside of my wrists and keeps me smelling good all day. I’m not very good at describing scents so i’m not even going to try haha but it’s supposed to be a mixture of ‘tuberose, jasmine and tonka bean’.

What have been your ultimate 2017 favs? Let me know in the comments!

Oh, also for those of you who have made it this far (you are awesome btw!), i wanted to let you know that i will not be posting in the first week or so of January as i have my finals and since i’ve been procrastinating, i need to start studying seriously which means no time for blogging haha! Hope you all have an amazing new year filled with nothing but happiness!

Until next year!

Thank you for reading xx

      1. Huda came out with four different palettes for this type. There’s the mauve, electric, warm brown (I think that’s what it’s called), and smokey. They’re all on the Sephora website. Tati Westbrook (YouTuber) did a first impressions on all of them, and I usually don’t like neon/really colorful shadows, but the electric palette looks amazing.

    1. I loved it even more because I don’t have these colors in my collection and I always water brick red eyeshadow so I was super happy with it!

    1. The pigmentation is amazing I was quite surprised by how good it was and yes I agree, I actually love a lot of Bioderma products, it’s a shame it’s so pricey otherwise I’d definitely be purchasing more of their products haha! 💕

  2. That Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette is soooo pretty! I love them shades, I really need to mix mine up a little as I only really use gold/browns at the moment! I’ve never seen a starbucks cup like that – it’s so cute, love the colour!
