5 Reasons Why I Love Blogging!

There’s no doubt that blogging has evolved tremendously over the last few years and the ease of blogging has allowed more and more people to join the blogosphere. There are so many different types of blogs to read and so many different reasons why people blog; today I wanted to share with you all 5 reasons why I love blogging so let’s get in to it!

My passion towards blogging keeps me motivated and inspired. I constantly feel like I’m working towards something and after all these years of not knowing exactly what is it I want to do in my life, it feels good to have found something that I not only enjoy doing but also am good at!  To be quite honest, I can’t remember being as passionate and goal driven about anything else in my life than I have been about blogging. When I first started this blog, I didn’t expect for it to become such a huge part of my life! It definitely gives me that sense of purpose that I am continuously working towards something and setting target and goals for myself to achieve.

Obviously I love blogging otherwise I don’t think I would be doing it in the first place; but my blog has quickly become my happy place! I love being in my corner of the room with my laptop in front of me, typing away on a new blogpost. That sense of achievement I get when I see the finished post that I have put so much effort and time in to is such a great feeling that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Also, i love makeup, I mean makeup genuinely  makes me so happy so it’s super cool to be able to share my passion for makeup  with so many people through writing on my blog!

Whether it’s coming up with new blogpost ideas or how to get the most beautiful flatlay shot for my blog, I feel like blogging keeps my creativity flowing! I’m always thinking of new ways to enhance my photos, to be more creative with my writing style and blogpost ideas, to come up with new ways to promote my content and so much more.

With blogging, I feel like I’m always learning new skills whether it’s related to photography, social media promotion or SEO. The improvement in my blog photos from when I first started blogging to now is amazing, and it just goes to show how much I’ve learned about photography angles, lighting, editing and so on! Organization skills are key when it comes to blogging and mine have improved significantly and actually affected other areas of my life positively as well such as university work and just day to day tasks! Before blogging, I rarely used to set to do lists for myself and now I can’t go a day without them having one. I would like to think that my writing skills have also gotten better although I know I still have a lot of work to do in that area haha! I’ve also gotten to learn about SEO which is a work in progress at the moment.

Last but definitely not the least, is the blogging community. I am always getting inspired and learning from other bloggers  as there are so many talented and genuine bloggers out there who I look upto! Twitter especially has the most supportive group of bloggers who are always encouraging and motivating each other and honestly it really helps to know that what ever it is that you are doing is worth something. Also, looking at successful bloggers always makes me inspired and motivated to work just as hard and keep focusing on my goals and just believe in myself!
