The Beauty Tag!

Hey beauties,

I was tagged by the gorgeous Joy at Mademoiselleolantern to do this beauty tag. Tag posts are such a great way to get to know the person behind the screen a little bit more and so I always enjoy doing them!

Do you remember your first makeup item?
Yes I do. It was the Maybelline Fit Me concealer which I still love very much till this day.
Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?       I would not say I have found my ‘perfect mascara’ but one I really love is They’re Real by Benefit.
What kind of coverage do you prefer from a foundation?
Medium to full but should be easily buildable and not look cake-y.
Favourite high-end brand?
NARS.
What cosmetics brands have you always wanted to try but still haven’t?
Tarte Cosmetics for sure!
Favourite drugstore brand?
NYX.
Do you wear false lashes?
No, but I definitely want to start as my lashes are literally non existent.
Is there any kind of makeup you can’t leave the house without?
There isn’t. If I am not in the mood, I will happily leave the house looking like a hobo.
What is your most cherished beauty product?
Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop highlighter- my life would be incomplete without it!
How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there, or get lots of goodies at once?
Depends, I rarely buy a lot of makeup at once though.
Do you have a “beauty budget” or do you spend freely?
Oh, wouldn’t life be amazing if I could spend freely on makeup, haha!
Do you utilize coupons, reward cards, and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
I use the Sephora card if that counts.
What type of product do you buy the most of?
Lip products and foundations
Is there a brand you absolutely can’t stand?
Have not come across any, no.
Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics, like parabens or sulfates?
Nop.
Do you have a favourite place to shop for makeup?
I think this one is pretty obvious- Sephora!
Do you like trying new skin care products or do you keep a certain routine?
I absolutely love trying out new skincare, I just find the whole thing so exciting!
Favourite bath and body brand?
Bath & Body Works.
What brand do you think has the best packaging?
Definitely Two Faced Cosmetics.
Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Blake Lively.
Do you belong to any online makeup communities?
Influenster.

Do you like multi-functional products like lip and cheek stains?
Yess, I do!
Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
No way! I always take my time doing my makeup as I need to make sure everything looks perfect haha!
Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
Oh yes I do otherwise my eyeshadow ends up a creasy mess (hooded eyelids problems).
How many hair products do you use on a typical day?
I don’t use any!
What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?
Foundation always!
Would you ever consider taking makeup classes?
Yes I would love to. I actually really want to go to a beauty school.
What do you love about makeup?                                                                               I love that it has the power to make me and so many other people just feel GOOD! Personally, I love that I can be creative with it and just trying out different products is very exciting to me. Makeup just makes me very happy haha and that is why I love it!
