WHAAAT! How is it the end of April already?! This month was definitely a mixture of emotions for me and I am super excited for May. Also, I am very proud of myself for being so consistent with these favourites post- let’s hope it stays that way haha! Anyways, here are some things I loved in April!
Herbal Essences ‘Daily Detox Moisture’ Shampoo
I rarely ever talk about my favourite shampoos because to be quite honest I feel like all shampoos do the same thing for my hair. I might notice a little bit of a difference in the beginning, but once my hair gets used to the shampoo, we are back to square one. Recently, my hair had become super greasy from the roots, even after shampooing, it would not feel completely clean. I don’t even use tons of hair products so I honestly don’t know what was causing the greasiness. I decided to try this shampoo from Herbal Essences because a detox is exactly what my hair needed. I didn’t have much hope from it to be honest but I was willing to try anything at this point! From the first wash, this shampoo made my hair feel squeaky clean and got rid of most of the greasiness. My hair felt super soft/smooth, clean and fresh! I am seriously in love with this shampoo- the scent, the packaging, the results! I highly recommend this if you have oily/greasy hair, have too much product built up or simply need a hair detox- this product definitely lives up to its claims!
Victoria Secret ‘Noir Tease’ Body Mist
I have always loved Victoria Secret perfumes because their scent actually seems to stay on for quite awhile. They had a huge sale going on recently when I got this ‘Noir Tease’ body mist and this scent is described as ‘black vanilla, frozen pear and blooming gardenia’- no idea what that means haha but I am loving this scent and have been carrying this baby in my purse wherever I go!
Labello ‘Blackberry’ Shine Lip Balm Review
This one is an oldie but a goodie. I spotted this recently at my local drugstore and had this urge to buy it and I am so glad I did. It gives my lips the most beautiful berry stain-type look and I love how fresh and natural it looks. This will be perfect for my no makeup/minimal makeup look days. It has a nice berry scent and does a great job at keeping my lips moisturized, oh AND ITS SUPER CHEAP (what’s not to love)!
The Breakdown- B. A. Paris
As you all know, I am a big thriller fan whether it be books or movies and after loving ‘Behind Closed Doors’- first book I read from this author, I had to read this one as well and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Although the start was a little bit slow, it quickly turned in to a compelling page turner and the ending definitely left me shocked. If you guys are in to gripping thrillers with ending that leaves you SHOOK, then I HIGHLY recommend this book!
Twinings Pure Peppermint Tea
I have recently become a major tea addict and out of the few flavours I have tried (green tea, camomile)- peppermint tea by far my favourite. Not only does the peppermint scent just instantly relax me, I actually enjoy drinking it without feeling the need to add honey or any other type of sweetener. I really want to try out some other tea flavours so I would love to know some suggestions in the comments below!
What have you been loving in the month of April? Let me know in the comments below!

You should try Aveda Shampure Shampoo it is natural and good for your hair not to mention it smells lovely too. Or if you really want to indulge, Shu Uemura is the best range I have ever used (the moisture shampoo cleans the hair but makes it feel so silky soft even before conditioner is applied)

I love herbal essences shampoos, mostly because of the scent haha. I haven’t tried the detox one but I think I will keep an eye out for it next time i’am in the store. Will also be on the lookout for that perfume, anything scent with vanilla gets my attention and this sounds like a really neat combo!

I use Herbal Essences ‘Raspberry & Mint Clean’ shampoo which is also a daily detox and it smells like a dream. It’s also really helped to stop making my hair greasy. All of your April favourites are good picks.

I just enjoy reading the monthly favorites posts. I also love reading a good psychological thriller novel. I still have not read Behind Closed Door and have added this one to my reading list. Some more suggestions are welcome. Twinings green teas are my favs too. I like the green tea with lemon. Victoria’s Secret body mists smell amazing and I am out of all that was in my collection. This lip balm looks good. 🙂

I am yet to list my April favourites but I love yours! I’m so tempting to buy Victoria Secret’s perfume/mist because I’ve always heard good things about them. And I’ve been drinking more tea too nowadays and recently I’ve tried Tetley’s Indulgence Cookies & Cream, and also Chocolate Mint and I love both! 😀 x
